Future Prospects researches the politics behind the ideal landscape. For centuries the depiction of a landscape is influenced by and used for propagating the ruling political sentiment. The ideal landscape also found its way into public space onto billbaords used for political campaigns. Next to political parties, commercial parties like estate agents use billboards to show their ideal landscape in the form of sunny artist impressions of their building plans.
