Postcards to Leeds no. 5, no. 6, no. 9
postcard, action, photo, 2015
in collaboration with Chris Fielder
What is the relation between an image of a place and the place itself? How can an image be a place in itself? In 2015 Chris Fielder and I did a summer residence at @Model in Leeds. Beforehand I wandered the streets of Leeds by Google Streetview. When I met something extraordinary, I would print screen and send this image as paper postcard to Chris. As a tourist in his own town he located the images with the real place.
