End of 2014 I made a 1:1 size print of the walls of my studio space by making a rubbing with charcoal. Afterwards I scanned the rubbings bit by bit, making a digital copy of the print of the skin of the building. The scanned parts or ‘tiles’ can be printed out, customized and brought together again in new places. A copy of the skin of the now demolished study space becomes a mobile reproducible and adjustable place.
